Heartland Hospice - .my SISTER
My sister was not in pain she was just a little weak and needed to be in a nursing facility. The hospice commment she will die on the way to the hospital and she will die in an hour was unacceptable.
She didn't die in An hour nor did they keep her clean she was smelling .the hospice nurse just sit around joking with the granddaughter. Like this is nothing
My sister was in need of dialayis and they refuse to let her go after i told them to send het to the hospital. I had the POA and the advance directive.
The listing to her granddaughter.they wouldnt
give her water , Food or her medicine as i had requested. My sister didnt want to be in hospice which she was in at one point. And she fired this hospice
Service. She told me not to never put her in hospice again.
Her granddaughter didnt have the POA and i fax it to them and they still listen to the grandaughter who need the insurane money from the life insurace. When I told them what. I wanted the said she will be dead in an hour. If we move her she would die on the eay to the hospital.
I call them and told them a few days before and told them i didnt want hospice they woul not return my calls . they would call the granddaughter and say your grandma sister is trying to take her out off hospice but would not return my call.
I call about 10 times before anyone would speak to me i would just leave message. I told them to leave my sister because i was the one in charge of her health care.

again what i am reading with all the complaints with hospice is it sounds like to me the most compassionate thing to do for the patients is to have this godly country legalize dieing with dignity act that is legal in 7 states right now.
